I love shawls. They’re the perfect pieces for adding just a touch more warmth on chilly nights (or in chilly offices). You can use almost any technique/style with them – from cables to garter to lace. It’s lace, really, that I’m loving most right now.

Skein Lane - IN THE LOOP 
I’m addicted to shawl knitting. My children will have plenty to wear when they are grannies. I am just trying to find places to go to wear the ones I have knit. I just finished the Elizabeth and Holbrook shawls and I am working on the Vernal Equinox shawl. But a wedding ‘cardigan’ is in the offing as the next project. Carolyn, I will be calling you!
